Mike “Moof” Mufich began fly fishing at the age of four. By the time he was 20 he was “fly fishing crazy” and started a lengthy trout-bumming career. The last 15 years he has been trout-bumming or guiding. At the age of 27 he started guiding for Northfork Anglers in Cody and by the age of 33 he started his own shop. He’s fished from Argentina to Alaska and when asked about his fly fishing future, he’ll tell you “I’m just getting warmed up.” His ultimate goal is to end his career the same way he started it, as a trout bum.
