The Lower Shoshone: The flows are at 420 cfs. The river is fishing well, the baetis have started up and the fish will be sipping small mayflies, especially on cloudy, foul weather days. Midges are always on the menu, dries and nymphs sizes 18 through 26. All general nymphs are working and dont forget your streamers. Scuds and sowbugs are an old standby. Streamers are also turning fish.
The North Fork of the Shoshone: slowly breaking up, will be ready very soon
The South Fork of the Shoshone: fishing pretty well with Midges, small stones, general beadheads and streamers.
The Lower Clarks Fork: . breaking up quickly and fishing to big stone nymphs, midges and general beadheads, some dry fly action on midges.
Big Horn River Thermopolis: Same bugs as the lower shoshone, make sure to bring light tippett Scuds, sowbugs, stones, copper johns, pheaseant tails, hares ears, and streamers are all hooking fish.
East Newton Lake: Frozen.
Luce/Hogan Lake: Frozen.
Upper Sunshine Res: Frozen.
